LCHA Trot for Toys Photos Now Available

NEDA Halloween Ride & Costume Contest Photos Are Now Available

Thanks to Steven Thompson and everyone at NEDA for another great event!  The Halloween Ride & Costume Contest marked the end of the season, and wow, what a season it has been!  Sixteen rides this year, in some truly beautiful locations, and I achieved a personal goal I set for myself at the end of last season, and Made every single ride!  I can't begin to thank Steven for all his help and to EVERYONE in NEDA for all your support!  Already looking forward to the next go around.  

The Halloween Ride was a lot of fun this year.  The weather was beautiful, and NEDA had a great turn out.  It was a special ride for me, because it was the first time I got to see the whole trail.  No wonder you guys all love this so much!  Thanks Steven, for helping me find the perfect photo spot.  Congratulations to Costume Contest Winners Inmate Meredith Mayeroff and her "Bad Boy" Info, and Parole Officer John Mayeroff and his horse Lacy.  Also, congratulations to ride winners, Dave Cootware in first place, ET Thomas in second place, and Red Black in third place.  Special honors to Beats Walkin' for placing fourth in his comeback race after being out with a long illness.  (Oh, and his human Steven Thompson, too.)

Projections Photography to Present - "Halloween 2011 - Caught On Camera."

Dayton Valley Photo Club will hold its monthly meeting tonight at 6:30 at the Club House at Dayton Valley Country Club.  Projections Photography will be their featured guest speaker, presenting "Halloween 2011 - Caught on Camera."  Tonight's topic will be how to take better Halloween photographs, especially in low light situations.  A 15 minute slide slow will follow, including images from local cemeteries, holiday decorations, kids in costume, Petsmart Howl-o-Ween Celebrations, and NEDA's Halloween Riders, past and present.  The presentation is free, and the public is welcome.
